Huawei Officially Released HarmonyOS: It is Available For Smartphone Anytime!
9th Aug. 2019, at its Global Developers Conference, Huawei Consumer Business Group officially launched its own operating system – HarmonyOS. Different from Android/Linux and iOS, this is a new microkernel-based distributed operating system for the whole scene. With full scene, distributed and other features, it realizes seamless collaborative experience across mobile phones, PCs, tablets, smart big screens, car machines, smart wearables and other cross-terminals!
Last year, shipments exceeded 200 million units, and this year is still growing rapidly. In this year’s trade war, it still maintains a 24% growth, Shipments exceeded 120 million units, 60 million units per quarter.
Smartphones keep growing, at the same time, smart PC, smart wearable keeps growing faster, More than 200% or even 300% increase.
